Account settings

For operational ease, you can customize how some of the critical visual elements of Xshield are displayed on the UI. These accessibility settings are set at the level of an instance; enabling them lets all users of your instance experience the changes. 

  • Enable the accessibility settings on the Settings > Configure > Account settings page.

Description
Upload logo
Upload a logo with a length to breadth ratio of 1:3. The logo appears in the reports you generate from the instance.  
Color accessibility mode

Enable this setting to display traffic on Visualizer in colors favorable to users with protanomaly and/or deuteranomaly.

  • Authorized traffic, which is usually shown as Green lines, is displayed in Magenta.

  • Unauthorized traffic, which is usually shown as Red lines, is displayed in Brown.

Exclude suspended assets from Xshield UI and vital statistics

Enable this setting to:

  • Hide suspended assets on Visualizer and the Assets pages

  • Exclude suspended assets for data displayed on the Workload Status widget on the HUD dashboard

  • Disable the Workload Status alert for the instance

  • Delete policies related to suspended assets from the assets that were previously reachable to the suspended assets

Delete Cloud AutoScale Suspended Assets

Enable this setting to auto-delete the non-essential entries of the Suspended assets from the Assets page. The assets whose entries must be deleted must be tagged with a unique ENVIRONMENT tag. See Auto-delete Suspended assets for more details.

Advanced agent communication option

Enable this setting to enable mTLS authentication for communication between the workloads set to use a Web proxy server to relay communication between the agents and the Xshield instance. See  Web proxy support for workloads for more details.
